Rockstar’s PC pattern
Rockstar has launched its biggest games on console first for years:
| Game | Console release | PC release | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| GTA 4 | April 2008 | December 2008 | 8 months |
| GTA 5 | September 2013 | April 2015 | 19 months |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | October 2018 | November 2019 | 13 months |
If GTA 6 follows the same path, PC players could be waiting until 2027 or 2028. Some outlets have reported an early 2027 PC window, but Rockstar hasn’t confirmed any PC version, so treat that as a rumor.
What about cloud gaming?
Nothing official yet. If GTA 6 appears on a cloud service you could play it on PC through a browser, but nothing has been confirmed.
